duration of one month. It is also possible to obtain a visa for
four weeks at the airport of Kathmandu you ust however have two
I.D photographs with you. .

altitude sickness.

There
are no restriction as to how much money you can bring in the

Euro and Dollars are widely accepted in the valley.

Insurance
It is imperative to
contact your insurance company to asssure it covers the research
and rescues in mountains. Make sure that the insurance police do
not consider the altitude as a cause of exclusion. The smallest
ambiguity in the contract could dangerously set back the
departure time of the helicopter. The research clause is
fundamental if you decide to to get away from the main trekking
paths. Trekkers and mountaneers must closely pay attention to
the price guarantee by the police insurance , the average price
of an evactuation by helicopter is of 26400 U.S Dollars.
For those on a trip lasting longer than three months, you must
verify with your insurance company the conditions applied for a
long trip. It is indeed common for companies to consider travels
lasting longer than 90 days as an expatriation therefore making
the rescues and medical care annulated.
